We all know the Erchius Ghost, that one butthole ghost that chases you when you collect Erchius from a moon. Did you want something a little creepier? Look no further.

This mod retextures the Erchius Ghost to be more like a floating crystal in an attempt to make it creepier. Didn't want to imagine some butthole monster.

Enjoy!

A little tip. I only made this because of my preference, but I also figured others will enjoy it. Please don't ask me to change it unless if I want to.

Q/A

Q: Is it compatible with FU?

A: Short answer. Yes. Long answer. Yes, but it only replaces the original ghost sprite. Any variants added by FU are untouched. Don't ask me for compatibility with those.

Q: Is it client-side?

A: Yep. It's a simple retexture.

Q: Why a crystal?

A: I like the idea of creepy inanimate objects slowly floating towards people.

Q: Can you make a mob with this? Can you change the spritesheet?

A: While the ideas are good, the mod, as it is, is what you get. I don't intend to change that.

This is the best (and scariest) erchius ghost retexture I've ever seen.
And it makes a lot more sense too, considering that the boss of the 1st mission is a giant erchius crystal, and sadly never see something as cool as that again without mods. I rather be chased around by a hovering geometric object instead of being chased by purple slime.

Okay... this sort of bothered me that Supermatter isn't a fuel. I could find a way to patch it in a way that makes it a fuel item. Thank's for bringing that idea.

fun fact: erichus fuel has a crystal form, called supermatter.

Yes. It is. However, it will only replace the sprite of the original Erchius Ghost. Any variants added by FU will remain so, as it is meant for the original. I no longer play FU, just in case you are wondering.
