Description
This is the "Type II" Viper with raised guns for a different aesthetic, and to bring the point of impact (POI) closer to the pilot's perspective.

This is an Omni-Viper. It is not any one, specific, canon Viper; but still, (unmistakably) a Viper. The closest I could call this is, "mk 1½ (ish)".

This Colonial Viper was intended for survival. The landing gear are deliberately simple so that they may be built easily, even though projector blocks omit them. There are no other subgrids to worry about.

There is a single H2/O2 generator on board, so it can be refueled by hand with ice if you're in a bad way. This also means it will fly indefinitely in creative mode.

For more efficient use of hydrogen, there are separate controls for atmospheric and space flight; and a separate set of controls for power and fuel mannagement:

Make sure to turn off all thrusters before transitioning from one mode to the other, or thruster geoups may get a bit mixed up.

2) Increase Main Thrusters Override
3) Decrease Main Thrusters Override

5) Deploy Drag Chute (atmo only) and Reverse Thrusters on/off
6) Gunnery Camera View
7) Navigation Lights on/off
8) lock/unlock Magnetic Plate
9) Toggle Guns

[9] (this is where you want to be when taking on power and fuel)

1) Hydrogen Tanks stockpile on/off
2) Batteries Recharge on/off
8) Beacon on/off

The colonial Viper trades in the bulky connector block for a single hinge part, where a service vehicle can attach to transfer power, hydrogen, ice, canvas, and ammunition.
