Survival [Coop 2-6] - Beta

Description
In this Scenario you are pitched against endless waves of enemies. After each wave is defeated you will gain acces to more and more equipment which will help you to combat the further waves. Take care though, not long into a run vehicles might start to make an appearance. Be ready!

Features:
- This mission has a LOT of Parameters to finetune the experience in any way you like. I would recommend using default settings for the first run though.
- Airdrops of vehciles and/or Equipment.
- Fire support system (kinda Beta-status for that at the moment. Should be working fine though)
- Enemy waves consist of Infantry and randomized vehicles. Those vehicles are bound to a points system which in turn depend on the current wave. This means there might be coming 1 very strong vehicle your way or several weaker ones. The more players the harder the vehicles will hit.
- Ace Arsenal for easy access to equipment and loadouts.
- Enemies spawn randomized on certain fixed positions.

Mods needed:

For the basic experience this is the minimum list of mods that are needed:
- CBA_A3
- ace
- BWMOD (+ ace compat)
- CUP Terrains core + Maps (+ ace compat)
- (+TFAR)

I would recommend playing with TFAR enabled. Players who died switch into spectator mode, and they should not be able to talk to the players who are still alive. It is no necessity though. Theoretically this scenario should work with acre too. But as i never played with acre myself i cant confirm that. Any feedback if it is working would be appreciated.

In addition you can launch with the cup mods:
- CUP Weapons (+ ace compat)
- CUP Vehicles (+ ace compat)
- CUP Units

The scenario will automatically detect if those three cup mods are loaded and will choose the CUP assets by default (those are in addition to the basic set when it comes to equipment). You can specify different behaviour in parameters though.

Tipps:
- Due to the limited amount of equipment the first five waves are actually quite a bit harder than the waves up to wave 15 maybe even 20. Therefore be careful and always have someone covering your back
- After a wave ended dont all rush back to the arsenal. It is quite tempting but the enemy has a VERY short run into your base from one of the spawnpoints. Therefore have someone guard that direction.
- Later on you can probably choose whatever weapon you like. Just make sure that all directions are covered and that you are not cut off from your supply. Nothing worse than sitting pretty on a tower and running out of ammo.
- Respawn happens every time a wave is defeated. But the group leader can manually end a wave. This will NOT kill/delete remaining enemies on the map. It still can be necessary to get the people back into the game even if it means to fight more enemies.
- Roofs are great vantage points, but rescuing you from one is borderline impossible.
- Nothing stops a group from having an AT on every single member. The game might end quite suddenly if the dedicated AT-guy is taken out be the vehicle he was supposed to kill.
- There is quite a big amount of information found in the briefing section on the map. No need to read it all for the first playthrough but there is quite some useful information in there.
- Same goes for the parameters. They are all described in their own section on the map.
- There are 34 different vehicles (with cup enabled at least) that might appear. Those contain vehicles from all factions. There might be "friendly" vehicles rolling towards you, but be assured: As long as you arent sitting in them they are very very hostile.


Now some information about this mission:
I first started on this roughly 5 years ago and thanks to very very deep dips in motivation i didnt fix or finish it for a very long time. The current version is the first one i consider complete. As i am lacking a group to play with this mission isnt really tested for more than one player. There shouldnt be any gamebreaking issues but i am simply lacking the possibilty to test this. If you play this with your group and run into issues please be kind enough to let me know. I will do my best to fix them. Any feedback (especially on medic settings (again: cant test them alone :D)) is very appreciated aswell.

Aaah, sehr geil, immer noch, aber man spielt die ganze Zeit mit Pistolen, weil das Arsenal am Arsch ist. Wenn man schnell genug ist, kann man noch einen Gegner looten für Waffen&Muni.


Kannst du das vielleicht wieder herrichten? Das wär ja ultrageil.

Ich glaub, aus den "benötigt" kannst ace3 bwmod compat entfernen. Ich probier gleich das ganze aus, obs noch geht :D

Well the first lines of code for this project were written in 2015 and it took me a LOT of hours to get it to the state it is in now. You can obivously unpack it and have a look at it how i did it. But there is very, very likely a LOT of room for improvement :)

this is definitely worth a go... I am currently trying to learn to make the endless wave mode too, but I will more likely be limited to like tens of wave, so I will try yours sometime
