Ice Furnace

The Ice Furnace is a cooling version of the Scaled Furnace with various practical functions.

Players can choose one of the following three ways (through the mod configuration) to obtain the Ice Furnace:

• Use Ice Staffs and Fire Staffs to transform the furnaces. Casting spell on the Scaled Furnace by using an Ice Staff can transform it into an Ice Furnace, similarly, casting spell on the Ice Furnace by using a Fire Staff generates a Scaled Furnace. The staff will be consumed after successfully transforming a furnace.
  
  
• Simply right-click the Scaled Furnace to switch it into an Ice Furnace. Similarly, right-click the Ice Furnace switches it into a Scaled Furnace.
  
  
• Players can also choose to build the Ice Furnace by learning its blueprint (dropped by Dragonfly).

The main functions and features of the Ice Furnace include:

• The Ice Furnace has the same lighting range as the Scaled Furnace by default, and players can change the lighting range in the mod configuration.
  
  
• The Ice Furnace provides cooling effect for surrounding units, and players may turn on the automatic temperature adjustment function in the mod configuration, so that they will not be undercooled by the Ice Furnace.
  
  
• The Ice Furnace has a container includes three to twelve slots (configurable, container eliminated when choose "None" for the number of slots), only Thermal Stones and non-living items related to freshness can be put in. The furnace can provide preservation effect for stored items, specific preservation rate can be set in the mod configuration.
  
  
• When the container remains closed, the Ice Furnace produces one piece of ice in its container every once in a while (if there is enough space). A special effect to remind will appear on the furnace when the ice is successfully produced. The production interval can be set in the mod configuration.
  
  
• The items in the Ice Furnace will be cooled to their lower temperature limit, which means the temperature of Thermal Stones can be reduced to minus 20 degrees in summer.
  
  
• Opening the container of the Ice Furnace extinguishes its flame, which pause the heat effect and causes the light effect weaken. Also, the container will no longer provides preservation and cooling effect for the items inside. The flame can be reignited by simply closing the container, and the effects mentioned above will be restored at the same time.
  
  
• Opening the container of the Ice Furnace will also cause the loss of cold air, which resets the timer of the ice production. The furnace will not restart timing until the container is closed, so please pay attention to the impact of opening the container.
  
  
• The Ice Furnace can be destroyed by hammering. It drops one piece of Scale, one Blue Gem and five pieces of Nitre (yep, one more way to get Nitre).

The Ice Furnace has two skins, corresponding to the two existing skins of the Scaled Furnace. The style of the skins will be inherited when replacing the furnaces (provided that the player must have the corresponding skins of the Scaled Furnace). Players can also choose skins when building the Ice Furnace, or use the Clean Sweeper to reskin it.
