The Crimson Road

Description
The Coalition is fighting a war in a neighboring country, shipping soldiers and supplies through the region. A no-fly zone restricts aerial supply flights, and diplomatic tensions prevents convoys from traveling through surrounding countries. Rival nations are aware of the region's strategic importance, secretly sponsoring guerilla forces to disrupt supply lines through the single road that cuts through the mountain range. Coalition presence has overwhelmed local infrastructure, causing massive traffic congestion and anger at international forces. The Coalition has ordered the local government to secure the only major supply route through the region and upgrade infrastructure to prevent regional hostility from disrupting operations.

The main route through the region must be held, otherwise Coalition operations will collapse. Embassies represent vital outposts that must be held to ensure victory. Insurgents hold many fortified positions along the mountain range.

Version 1.0.0: Release
Version 1.0.1: Removed stable zones, modified global support level, and added insurgent controlled zones in mountains.
Version 1.0.2: Added missing description for civilian initiative.
Version 1.0.3: Fixed mislabeled initiative descriptions.

Is there something wrong with the current initiative labeling?

@gaminlocke
It was meant to have that kind of transportation infrastructure theme. I would have preferred to have a convoy system like in Azure Dam, but the scenario creator currently does not support that. As such, embassies had to make do for now.

It appears that... roads are very important to this scenario.

I appreciate the feedback! I tried to keep it in the same style of Rebel Inc., just with a twist to fit the setting. Glad to hear the rep-boosting initiatives are helping with harder difficulties, since I've only tested my scenarios on Normal so far.

Good scenario! Liked the re-theming of all the civilian initiatives. Took a few tries to beat it on Mega Brutal, though it got a lot easier once I realized how powerful the reputation-boosting initiatives are.
