Prefix:
dys_ = Dystopia (normal identifier for the game Dystopia)
pb_ = Phistball (game variant, bring a ball into a goal, weapons are deactivated)
ctf_ = Capture the flag (game variant, bring a item from enemy territory in your base)
sav_ = ? (maybe a identifier for a map from the mapper 'Savior'?)
sol_ = ?

␣ ␣ ␣ (no identifier on front) = ? (different causes, maybe it's a part from a unfinished map)


Suffix:
_1 = This map is version 1 (2, 3, 4... is possible).
_a = This is a map which is in the first ("alpha") mapping/test-phase. (_a1, _alpha1)
_b = This is a map which is in the second ("beta") mapping/test-phase. (_b1, _beta1)
_v = This map is finished/has thought finish ("version") map. (v1_a1 is still possible)
_rc = A map which is nearing completion ("release candidate"). (rc1, rc2, ... is possible).
_test = Only a version for a test.
_fixed = Something in this map was broken before, this is the repaired ("fixed") version.
_comp = "competitive", designed for 5v5 tournaments / PUG's.
_proof = ? (Maybe a map that doesn't crash?)
_bx = A map fom the mapper Bauxite.

This chapter is for mappers.
The goal is to integrate all the nice community maps into the official game.
But some community maps need some repair before.
Here I've written all things that I found and came to my mind.


Repair-codes:
1: Not loadable ( !!! very important !!! )
2: Functional issue ( ! important ! )
3: Need playground optimization (necessary)
4: Missing textures.
5: Optimize optical.
6: Last works: - remove edges that you get stuck on while walking,
              - add guiding-arrows, add correct map-overview,
              - adjust trigger fields of door opening, adjust light,
              - solve the red error codes at Console,
              - exchange soda machines (working),
              - add plushies, eastereggs, mapsecret, ^^
              - add mapper nameplate,
              - open beta testing.


> NEVER forget to number up your map version!!! <
(_b1 > _b2 / _fix1 > _fix2 / _2025a > 2025b / ... )
- Do not make the addition too long, as it is inconvenient to write and remember!
- And we had situations where the version numbers weren't upgraded/numbered up!!
   Then players couldn't load the map!!!
   Because the old version with the same name was already on their computer!!!
   Then every player has to manually swap the files in their own game path! That's a x#@%!!!
   (You can then try to explain to the players in words how to do this!)


Information for mappers:
Please contact me when you like to try repair of some maps,
you can also write it in the comment section,
that other mapper know which map has a ongoing repair.

Elevators don't have buttons inside, sometimes they don't move by themselves.

Conveyors do not have a typical animated moving textures.

Mines
The mines are too easy to dodge because they are so visible.
There should only be an antenna sticking out of the ground, with a small red ball on top.
In addition, there should be twice as many mines in the ground. 4 are too few.
And some weeds should be on the ground between the mines so that they are not too easy to see.

All spawns have no defense turrets.

It gives only one small way for corpse after spawn, needs bigger or second.

Bomb has no model.
(placeholder looks like a pizza, so, created a hovering pizza-delivery car!) xD

The first gate at bomb spot don't opens, after elevator is down.
Corpse from first area can't go easy to next area! Gate must open after elevator is down.










5of15:
Glitch near 2. spawn.










6of15:
All three gates opens in wrong direction (upside down).

After bomb is exploaded, Punks have NO possibility to go to area from next object!!
the hole after exploded bomb goes THROUGH the attackers spawn.
This place must be rebuild with a normal way, the spawn must be a sideroom.

Backstage room.
Button and door to gangway from prisioner dont work.
(Maybe the button is for deactivating the/a cooled down room?)

Last objective has no model.

ICE barrier from 2. object has no visible patch while hacking!?

ICE barrier from 2. object dont remember when it was encrypted after join cyber again!??

The two cyberspace rooms are 95% equal, need new nice different room design.

Skybox need horizontal skybox with buildings, and air highway for more lifing atmosphere.

- Outside walls must be exchanged to buildings, a dump or a indstrial complex etc.

Some JIP spots have no JIP terminals.

Some Cyberspace rooms are difficult, developer decide if choose or not.

Cyberspace has no skybo -ähh cyberbox. ;)

Entrance hall has 3 wall glitches. (And the room is also too dark)

Few door buttons have a texture fault.

(First view) the sound from the ceiling ventilation is annoying.
It can be deleted or changed with a quite normal background sound.

Streets need more atmosphere, like dys_broadcast:

Cyberspace needs protruding blocks / rough/uneven walls, like the other maingame maps.:

"Empty" areas need design update:
1. Train station from punks spawn. (seats, screens, graffitis etc.)
2. Way upwards from train station to streets. (handrails, escalator on one side etc.)
3. First Corpses spawn room (the other spawns on map looks nice).

All ICE barrires has no main game textures:

The elevator has no lift cage:

The opening-sound from the two 'wall doors' don't stops, very annoying.

- Rats maps
   - Inside a JIP. (with a large window where a decker stands in front) xD
      The objects in between are about the electrical components.
      The goal of the last object is to deactivate the JIP. ^^
      (At that point, the object is also won in the outside game) ;p
   - Inside a Ammo dispenser. (where the huge wheel also turns inside) ^^
      The objects in between are about the provision of ammunition.
      The goal of the last object is to deactivate the dispense of grenades. xD
   - Inside a Spawnpad. (a huge big round room in which all objects are located) ^^
      In the middle of the room, a huge beam of energy can be seen regularly. (player spawns)
      The objects in between are about the rerouting of spawn pads or spawn timer at base.
      The goal of the last object is to reroute the spawn to the warehouse of pad manufacturer. xD

- A objective map where you play exclusively in cyberspace.
      With 3-4 objectives.
      (There are little crystals everywhere on the ground) ^^
      The JIP room is a room from the cyberspace championship competition.
