I am mostly sure that this train follows community standards regarding coupling, light setup and inclusion of an emergency break (frână de urgență).

Either cabin has full control, but to make sure a cabin is active you must push the "cabina activa" button on the left side of the control board .


Starting procedure:

• Turn the ignition key
  
• Engage the generator coupling (nearby ignition key)
  
• Engage the pumps (fuel, air, coolant) (nearby ignition key)
  
• Engage the traction motors (left side)
  
• Disengage brake (the throttle on the right)
  
• Apply throttle (the throttle on the left)
  
• The emergency brake is also on the left side as a flip switch

The Train comes equipped with Large Radio communication, unmute microphone button and frequency keypad on the top of the cabin, but also a track change ("macaz" button also on the top) .

The buttons and variables are almost all in Romanian, but i believe their functions are simple enough to get thru in the case of the buttons.

You are allowed to tune things to your liking for your own use if you figure out how. (good luck with the romanian-english translations.)
