Sands of Wealth

Description
Deep in the arid flats lies the treasure of the modern world, petroleum. Oil derricks litter the outskirts of the region and are heavily contested for their valuable resources.

Notes:

This map was made in an attempt to replicate the base game style of regions with special features.

-Oil derricks that are in neutral or stable zones will generate revenue for you!
-Insurgents will prioritize attacking oil derricks. Avoid letting them gain control of those zones as they will increase insurgent capability as time goes on!
-Insurgents will guard oil derricks with heavy scrutiny. Make sure you have enough firepower!
-Corruption plagues the region due to oil being a dirty business.
-Minefields litter the region, slowing down soldier movement through certain zones.
-Due to the abundance of petroleum, fuel is incredibly plentiful, allowing for increased soldier move times!

Feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

Just tried out this scenario, and just wanted to say that I enjoyed playing it a lot. If you are open to the idea of future updates, perhaps you can consider some custom initiatives relating to oil, such as, for example, inviting in foreign oil companies to set up in the region, which give you extra income, but upset the locals; Or some sort of counter black market oil trade operation to help you out with the corruption issue? Anyway, thank you for sharing this great scenario with us!

Good scenario. Nice to see something emulating a map feature. Decently balanced.
