Description
*** Update ***
Made some very large improvements in the reactor room. Also added thrusters on the outside and converted the entire station to a ship.
The "reactor" can spin at almost max speed if you like. The plan is that it will work as a counter force for the rotation now that it's a ship and not a static station.

** Update **
Fixed the groupings that where compromised by the newest update. Also did a few other minor adjustments :)
Painted with some colors here and there, not too much but just a bit to give it that special touch. Also added some more extremities poking out the back of the station and added a small "maintnance area" where the station is connected to the static structure.

There are no defensive weapons, if there would be a block with a popup weapon so it would be the same level with other blocks when in standby, that would be my choise.

The station is roughly 210m long and the interior diameter in the middle section is about 40m.

** Original **

Made some uppgrades to my "old" rotating station :)

Wasn't that happy with the "blast doors" for the hangar, remade those. Also the new grouping system makes it a lot easier to open and close all doors at the same time. To open/close the doors, find a terminal and turn on the rotors for the group that reads Blast Door.

No big changes to the conveyor system. I did add a few medical stations to one section of the station. Also some other small improvements in the interior. But mostly on the exterior.

Scrapped the old "tug ships" I had laying around in the hangar and made a set of new fighters (18 total) that are docked on the static part of the station. The interior for that structure now has it's own gravity and it's not effected by the rotating section. Also made that part a lot larger and expanded the interior.

There is still some empty space left inside for future ideas :)

And yes, this is slightly inspired by Babylon 5 ;)

Have fun! :)

I'we tryed crashing a large ship in to it and the rotor didn't brake. but after that i added the support structure that goes around the station to avoid it swinging too much in case of a crash :) also i think it helps that it's constructed of light armor blocks :)

A good method of making a sturdy rotation system is implemented here http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=260013928&searchtext= although I imagine it'd take a LOT more effort to create such system.

It's... big. And cool. Although knowing that it all holds on a single puny rotor makes me a bit nerveous:D
