TREKORION: 0103 corvette

3 slot iron starter. $53k, 11k iron, and 4k titanium to construct.

Inspired by the USS Franklin from Star Trek Beyond. Four 0103 models were built as starters on a hardcore Avorion 2.0 galaxy. Three were constructed from the home sector shipyard in sector -53:-446. The fourth was converted from the Lady Adventurous.

The 0103 remained in service until ship designation 010302 was destroyed by a pirate mothership in sector -47:-416. Afterward, coreward expansion ceased until sufficient resources became available to build the type 0104 and 1104.

010301, 010303, and 010304 were dedicated refining miners with a standard armament of 1 chain gun and two mining lasers. 010302 operated as an exploration and patrol ship, and wielded a single legendary bolter, a salvage laser, and a PDC turret for 232 om.

It took about 1 hour of mining to construct the first type 0103 and another 5 hours to build, arm, and crew the next three.
