Description
Minify More

In Rimworld, some of the structures are minifiable and some aren't. The reasoning behind why some can't be minified seems confusing. This mod tries to apply minification to more of the vanilla objects in the game, while leaving some objects alone. In general, this mod allows most constructed buildings to be minified and a small selection of structures (columns, doors, barricades/sandbags). Lots of thanks go to the mod that inspired this mod: Uninstall Rimworld.

"Why not just use Minify Everything?"

Minify Everything uses a very brute force way of making things minifiable. All structures/buildings/spots/everything will be minifiable, and they'll all have a weight of 1 when minified. This mod is for when you don't want raiders to be able to uninstall your walls and run off with them. It's also more thoughtful about the weights

"Can you add minification for X?"

I'll consider it, especially if you create an issue on the mod's GitHub.

Not sure what's causing it, probably some unholy multi-way mod conflict, but I had an issue where uninstalled doors tank my framerate. I looted a bunch from a mission and brought them back to base, then when I unloaded them the TPS went from like 250 to ~17. I installed all the doors in places and it went back over 200.

Don't suppose anyone's seen this and knows what the cause is?

It would be great if you could add geysers. I was able to pack them using another mod, but I can't unpack them anymore. Now my storage is full of them^^°

@Aargh Tenna Ah, I should specify... I mean base game or DLC items. I usually don't try and tweak mod related items because there are a lot of mods out there... I think the list of base game items that are likely candidates is pretty small though

Advanced solar panels from VE-Power. Chemfuel tanks. Industrial generators. Campfire. Torch. There are plenty of things that are irritatably not moveable. Biotech gene processors.

Having played 1.6 for a bit, I can say a couple things: Moving chemfuel tanks seems like it would be really nice, but beyond that I can't say I've seen anything so far that makes me want to be able to minify it... Tempted to just mark this as 1.6 capable but I need to play a bit more

Now, I'm only interested in this to take away vehicles that I can't repair that I find. Like cool cars and all kinds of impressive vehicles.

Reporting in that it works in 1.6 as expected - though I have not tried to move a gravcore.

pleeeease add the ability to minify and move chemfuel tanks for the gravship when you get to it.

i think minifying the gravcore might cause a resonance cascade but i don't know...
