In Napoleon Campaign, you must deal with 18 nations to expand your influence and control all of Europe through conquest and diplomacy.

If you want to win Napoleon Campaign 100%, you have 2 choices; eliminate them or turn them to become your vassal state.

What happen if you turn any nation to become your vassal state ?

Pros :
- Army of vassal state become your army and you can use them as your wish.
- Territory of vassal state count as your territory.

Cons :
- Vassal state still control their territory and colony, so you don't receive rare resource income and wonder power from any territory and colony that control by vassal nation.

I'll show how to turn any nation to become French vassal state and consequence about this diplomacy action.







I intend to turn Dutch to become French vassal state. You'll see Dutch control territory 3 % and 2 colonies in World Status, meanwhile French control territory 19 % and 3 colonies in World Status.







I negotiate with Dutch, then I use 404 Tribute to make Dutch become French vassal state.





Dutch officially become French vassal state. I have gained a new army by gaining a vassal so I place my new army in Holland.









After Dutch become French vassal state, you'll see Dutch don't have any territory and French control territory 23 % in World Status. However Dutch still control their territory and colony as before.

Some nation has already been another nation's vassal. Sardinians and Bavarians are vassal of the Austrians, meanwhile Mamelukes is vassal of the Ottoman Turks.

If you want to turn Sardinians , Bavarians or Mamelukes to become French vassal state, you have 2 choices;

1. Eliminate Austrians or Ottoman Turks to free their vassal state.

2. Use Commander Paoli Strategic Card to liberate those vassal state. You can receive Commander Paoli Strategic Card if you attack and capture Corsica.

Let's start looking at Europe Map. You can divide Europe map into 3 groups ( If I understand correctly )







Group 1 - 12 Nations that you can make ally or turn them to become your vassal state
- Spanish
- Papal States
- Dutch
- Knights of Malta
- Swiss
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Swedish
- Saxons
- Sardinians
- Mamelukes
- Bavarians

Group 2 - 5 Nations that you can make ally but you can't turn them to become your vassal state
- Austrians
- Ottoman Turks
- Prussians
- British
- Russians

Group 3 - Nation that you can't make ally and can't turn them to become your vassal state
- Royalists

Note : I don't think you can make peace with Royalists too.

Therefore if you want to finish Napoleon Campaign 100 % with fastest win, you need to;

1. Turn all nations in Group 1 to become your vassal state.

2. Eliminate all nations in Group 2 and Group 3.

But what is best route to finish Napoleon Campaign 100 % with fastest win ?

Let's look at data that I already shown in " Road to the Emperor in Napoleon Campaign Guide ".

All 6 routes have results are as follows :

Route AC : Royalists and Spanish were already eliminated. So you have to deal with 11 nations in Group 1 and 5 nations in Group 2.

Route AD : Royalists , Knights of Malta and Mamelukes were already eliminated. So you have to deal with 10 nations in Group 1 and 5 nations in Group 2.

Route BC : Spanish was already eliminated. So you have to deal with 11 nations in Group 1 and 6 nations in Group 2 and Group 3.

Route BD : Knights of Malta and Mamelukes were already eliminated. So you have to deal with 10 nations in Group 1 and 6 nations in Group 2 and Group 3.

Route BxC : Papal States and Spanish were already eliminated. So you have to deal with 10 nations in Group 1 and 6 nations in Group 2 and Group 3.

Route BxD : Papal States , Knights of Malta and Mamelukes were already eliminated. So you have to deal with 9 nations in Group 1 and 6 nations in Group 2 and Group 3.



Therefore Route AD is perfect route for fastest win because you can finish Napoleon Campaign in next 5 turns if you plan correctly.

Note : If you want to eliminate every nations in Napoleon Campaign, you must do it in Route AD and Route BxD.

You use 11 Tribute and 3 Tactical Cards to make Portuguese become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Portugal.

You use 21 Tribute , 2 Tactical Cards and 1 Strategic Card to make Swiss become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Brittany.

After that you are ready to deal with your archenemy, British.





When British sloop ship sail past your army, you should send your army cross English Channel and attack London asap.

I recommend you build 6 man-o'-war ships to block British naval units in English Channel.





After you attack London, British will relocate their capital to Edinburgh.









After you fight your enemy in this battle 2 and 4 minutes, reinforcements from Paris and Brittany will appear in the map respectively.

Guide those 2 armies to travel near map border until they safely land at north of Edinburgh.

Then you combine those 2 armies and order them to attack and capture Edinburgh.

Some people said " Attack is the best form of defence ", it is true story in this battle. I won't recommend you to hold the line at London and Edinburgh until timer run out. I think you should capture all remaining British cities is better strategy.

After you eliminate British, you'll have new army and you place your new army in Hanover.

The Sultan of the Ottoman Turks desires to settle the current dispute between France and his empire, so you accept to consider their offer.

This offer isn't good enough for you, so you reject this deal.

Ottoman Turks disappointed at your decision and they decide to invade you at Syria.

















I recommend you to attack and destroy enemy unit at their farms.

After you successfully defend Syria, You'll receive 50 Tribute.

Spanish hope to end current hostilities with France by sitting down at the negotiating table with you, so you accept to consider their offer.

Spanish give 50 Tribute to you for peace treaty. It's good offer so you accept this deal.

You use Advisor Fouché Strategic Card to manipulate relation between Prussians and Austrians so Prussians and Austrians have gone to war with each other.

You use 181 Tribute , 2 Tactical Cards and 1 Strategic Card to make Papal States become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Tuscany.

You made several negotiations and overruns with Prussians to boost Tribute for Prussians and French.

You use 2 Commander Paoli Strategic Cards to liberate Sardinians and Bavarians from Austrians.

Therefore Sardinians and Bavarians aren't vassal of the Austrians anymore.

After that you are ready to deal with Prussians.







I recommend you should use Napoleon forced march to make your army travel faster and attack Berlin asap.

After you eliminate Prussians, you have bad news that governors of East and West Prussia have allowed Russians to occupy their lands in retaliation for your conquest of Brandenburg.

The Russians also have declare war on you too.

You'll have new army and you place your new army in Ukraine. You also overrun Brittany too.

You use 16 Tribute , 2 Tactical Cards and 1 Strategic Card to make Bavarians become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Bavaria.

Pick army in Hanover to attack Westphalia, so you'll overrun Westphalia.

Note : Battle of Jena is historic battle in War of the Fourth Coalition.

Pick army in Piedmont to attack Lombardy, so you'll overrun Lombardy.

You'll have new army and you place your new army in Syria.

Note : Battle of Lodi is historic battle in War of the First Coalition.

Pick army in Tuscany to attack Venetia, so you'll overrun Venetia.

Note : Battle of Mantua is historic battle in War of the First Coalition.

After that you are ready to deal with Russians.

Note : This is historic battle that happen in period between the end of War of the Fifth Coalition and the beginning of War of the Sixth Coalition.





When your unit entering Russian territory, your unit receiving attrition take serious damage gradually over time unless your unit in range of one of your supply wagon.

So you should march carefully to save your unit in this battle.





If you capture Smolensk, you have a choice to buy 5 supply wagons or 5 cannons for 5 Tribute.

I recommend you to not buy anything because your unit will be too many to control in one group.

No matter what choice you make, Russian partisans have set fire to Smolensk. The city center has been razed to the ground.





If you capture Borodino, you have a choice to buy 5 supply wagons or 5 cannons for 5 Tribute.

I recommend you to not buy anything because your unit will be too many to control in one group.

No matter what choice you make, Russian partisans have set fire to Borodino. The city center has been razed to the ground.

Warning : Don't destroy Kremlin at Moscow because you'll lost Wonder Kremlin forever.

After you eliminate Russians, you'll have new army and you place your new army in Egypt.

You use 181 Tribute , 2 Tactical Cards and 1 Strategic Card to make Dutch become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Burgundy.

Pick army in Burgundy to attack Wurttemberg, so you'll overrun Wurttemberg.

You use 126 Tribute , 2 Tactical Cards and 1 Strategic Card to make Sardinians become French vassal state.

You have gained a new army by gaining a vassal and you place your new army in Sardinia.

You successfully turn all nations in Group 1 ( except Knights of Malta and Mamelukes that you already eliminated ) to become your vassal state.

After that you are ready to deal with Ottoman Turks.





I recommend you build 3 man-o'-war ships and order all of your man-o'-war ships sail to west of Famagusta and destroy all of Ottoman Turks reinforcements.

Then you march your army from the Halab to attack and capture Famagusta simultaneously.

After you capture Famagusta, the people of Famagusta have taught you how to fish these waters better. Your fishing boat will now gather 25 % more food and 10 % more wealth.



After you capture Bursa, the people of Bursa have shown your explorer how to see farther. Their line-of-sight has been increased.



Warning : Don't destroy Colossus at Rhodes because you'll lost Wonder Colossus forever.

After you eliminate Ottoman Turks, you taken control of the Louisiana Territory and gained total control of the Mississippi River.

You made several negotiations with Austrians to boost Tribute for Austrians.

You'll have new army and you place your new army in Tunisia.

Now you are ready to finish this campaign.

Note : This is historic battle in War of the Fifth Coalition.





When battle begin you should use Napoleon create decoys quickly to save your unit in this battle.



You should set your army at west of Aspern to prepare for Austrians attack.



You should set your army at west of Vienna to prepare for Austrians attack.



Austrians has army that station on island between Vienna and Aspern. You should eliminate them to clear your trade route.



I recommend you build 8 man-o'-war ships and order all of your man-o'-war ships sail to east and combat with 4 Austrians man-o'-war ships.



I recommend you build ( or bring ) 5 man-o'-war ships and order all of your man-o'-war ships sail to west and combat with 5 Austrians sloop ships to eliminate any threat from Austrians naval units.



After that it's time to march your army to capture remaining Austrians cities and win this battle.

You eliminate Austrians and finish Napoleon Campaign with French control territory 100 % in World Status.
