Rings of Fire

Description
Probably one of my best monoportal tests to date!
Also one of the first times I've had someone else playtest my map! (Thank you Sheepdog!)

I did it the first way Libbybapa showed, which is too bad as the intended is a bit nicer. I do agree that regardless the small glass window for the laser catcher is a bit misleading . Thumbs up.

Interesting map and was a quite tricky one given the elements. I think it took me longer that I expected because I wasn't sure about one of the moves (so had to check).

this one took me a couple days to figure out and then the solution i found was so simple. lol

It would be nicer if the flip panel was reused

Nice test.

I enjoyed it up until the end and then had mixed feelings about it. I found two possible endings and am not really a fan of either one. They both seem like difficulty through obscurity in design rather than difficulty through challenging logic. https://youtu.be/30ICDrGtkSI

I'm assuming this is intended?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqTxK5RZbo0
I had my fun overall, but I do have a few suggestions, too: I think that you should add the laser alignment helper for the laser cube from BEE. It's very easy to implement and leaves most laser cube inaccuracy in the dust, which would make for a more considerate design in general. Additionally, I think that making the ledge peeking out from behind the fizzler in the exit room more obvious wouldn't hurt, since in its current state, it's more of a "difficulty by obscurity" type of ordeal, imo. Same goes for the laser catcher connected to the exit being in that small niche - I'd prefer if that niche was deleted, though I don't know if that would break something else :p
But, other than that, all is solid, I think. Cheers!

Great puzzle. Felt very clever to finally break the assumption. I think the final move would be a bit more clearly intended if it was a bit easier to align the laser cube while off the button.
