Introducing a ship load of new components for all your Star Traders: Frontiers exploration needs.
Firstly, two new officer cabins: the Quartermaster's HQ and the Shrine of Shalun. The Quartermaster's HQ allows an officer to manage both cargo and crew, granting ten ship Ops dice! The Shrine of Shalun as well berths one officer, but its reverence to the crew grants your ship a bonus to initiative in combat and critical hits. Motivate your crew!
Next, using the power of null space, you can now store cargo in a field that also reduces the mass of your ship. These large-sized mass displacers each allow for a reduction in mass as well as additional cargo storage space.
Introducing the Habbanya Frigate, a 5000 mass ship with a maximum compliment of six officers and thirty-six crew. This lovely lady will become a favorite mid-mass hull for crews everywhere.
Finally, using a breakthrough of engine technology, it is now possible to purchase the Caterpillar engine in all masses. This beauty reduces chances of detection by other ships while merely sipping on fuel as you explore. Despite not being the fastest engines available, you'll slide through space more safely and with less fuel used per AU.
