Renault TN6

In the 1930s, to compensate for the gradual disappearance of the Parisian urban tramways, the STCRP (the forerunner of the RATP) proceeded to develop its bus fleet. In 1932, it ordered 770 chassis from the Renault factory. They were bodied by the STCRP workshops, which designed a three-part body with a driver's compartment, a passenger compartment and an open rear platform. When the RATP was created in 1949, these vehicles continued in service until the last models were reformed in 1969.
