MIB's Temple Expansion

Description
Hi everyone,

this is my new mod project: a temple expansion mod. It shall bring more diversity among the temples without breaking the Post-Emperor balance.

What it does:

It is readding the pre-Emperor temples:

ptolemaic Temple of Imhotep [god of Knowledge]
greek Temple of Hermes [god of trade]
roman Temple of Mercury [god of trade]
roman Temple of the Nymphs [minor goddesses of fertility]
punic Temple of Kore [goddess of fertility]
punic Temple of Baal Zephon [god of storm, rain, waves]
Temple of Cernunnos (Britons) [god of fertility]
Temple of Neto (Iberians) [god of the sun]
Temple of Fraujaz (Germanics) [god of fertility]
Temple of Bendis (Dacians) [goddess of the moon and hunting]
Temple of Thana (Illyrians) [goddess of hunting]
Temple of Dionysos (Thracians) [god of wine]
Temple of Agin (Nomads) [god of war]

New added Temples:

Temple of Apollo (Greeks) [god of light, art and healing]
Temple of Artemis (Greeks) [goddess of hunting]
Temple of Ceres [fertility goddess, goddess of grain]
Temple of Grannos (Celts, Gauls) [god of healing springs]
Temple of Taranis (Celts, Gauls, Britons) [god of the sky and thunder]
Temple of Esus (Celts, Gauls) [god of trade and roads]
Temple of Lugus (Gauls, Britons, Iberians) [god of artisanship and trade]
Temple of Smertrios (Celts, Gauls) [god of war]
Temple of Matrona (Gauls) [mother goddess of the Marne]
Temple of Brigantia (Britons) [tribal goddess of the Brigantes]

That's actually impressive. Thank you for resolving my lack of knowledge. However, I don't quite see how distinctively different the bonus are represented between the 2 types of religious buildings. Can you elaborate ?

Ancient greeks knew holy groves too:

The most famous sacred groves in mainland Greece was the oak grove at Dodona. Outside the walls of Athens, the site of the Platonic Academy was a sacred grove of olive trees, still recalled in the phrase "the groves of Academe".

...

The city of Massilia, a Greek colony, had a sacred grove so close by it that Julius Caesar had it cut down to facilitate his siege.[7]

And there were many more especially where famous nymphs or naiads were venerated.

So i won't change the mod.

There are 2 copies for both Apollo and Artemis and maybe Hermes. One is the Temple and the other is Grove. You should re-check and delete the Grove since Greeks uses Temples.

Hi, no problem, and good to hear that you will correct it. :)

Hi, i was for a short time not available because of moving to another apartment.

The misspelling is in the base mod too. I correct it now. Thank you for reporting. ;)

In fact my first mods were translation mods too. :)

Also, just in case someone is interested, everyone can make the names showing up in other localisations than just english, with a little bit of work. In Rome 2 data folder there is a pack file with the localisation file for your language. If you are able to create a pack file containing that localisation.loc file, then it is only copy&paste and a bit of translation. That‘s it, sorry for double posting :)

Maybe it is my fault, cause i edited M.I.B‘s Mod for personal use, but just in case this issue is also in the original mod: Name of the level 4 Artemis Temple was not showing up ingame. In my version the reason was in building culture variants.loc (that .loc file has this name or a similar name), there was a double entry for lvl 2 Artemis temple, but no entry for lvl 4.

I really like your mod, cool stuff! The new buildings are nice and your mod teached me how to add new buildings :)
