Description
Introducing the SEPD - Sentinel

- Lore

With the emergence of the Rebel Collaborations League followed by the Incident at Supply Route Beta, all out war was declared between the Outer and Core Worlds.

With colonies begging for aid, and new funds granted by the War Council, the SEPD rushed into action producing the first active war-time ship, the Sentinel. In order to organise the fleet and apply further range to mercy missions, a select number of these Command Frigates were produced and dispatched to sectors with heavily fortified escorts.

Although not particularly fast, nor well armed, the Sentinel excels as a Hub for ships to be coordinated from colony to colony in the fastest manner possible. Typically they are complemented by Supply vessels and are protected by numerous Patrol Boats orbiting the combat zone.

- Description

The Sentinel boasts a combined total of 2 Rocket Launchers, 3 Missile Turrets, 6 Gatling Turrets, and a wide array of PDCs throughout the hull as well as 8 Decoy Blocks (4 a side). The interior is also complemented with 3 Interior 'Warden' Turrets. Given its command ship status, the Sentinel has No Holding Cells

Present are 4 reactors powering the ship and 38 batteries acting as storage. The engineers were also able to add a functioning Jump Drive as well as a state-of-the-art Antenna Array with 2 Laser Antennas, and a Gravity Generator. Additional systems include 4 Assemblers, 2 Small Cargo Containers, 2 Cryo Chambers , 2 Beds, 1 Projector, 1 Survival Kit, 16 O2/H2 Generators and 15 Small H2 Tanks as well as 1 Large.

The Rooms consist of a Bridge (duh), Armory, Medibay, Small Barracks, Logistical Hub Room, Engineering Control, Engineering , Stern Entry Hold

Authors Notes:

This was originally built from the bow, backwards, after 3 or 4 failed attempts, I am now happy to publish the ship as is. I used the IMDC Protos and CDF Caelius as a stencil for a general frigate shape and size, and altho slightly higher in block count, feel it still deserves frigate classification due to the armament.

A note on the inability to fly in 1G... It can... but by about 1 thruster, I imagine it would work in higher altitudes with lower gravity, but honestly wouldn't count on it.

That's all, cheers to those who put in input on the design

I Hope that you all enjoy this Ship, lemme know what you think by Rating, Commenting or hitting the Big Star.

Just the offset doors from what I remember, that'll remove all the thruster shield things, but I think thats all, should be fine to download without venting or splitting.
