AimSounds

Description
This mod adds sounds to characters when they raise and lower their weapon.
It uses vanilla gun handling sounds. Other players can hear these sounds.
It works with modded weapons - it will try and predict a sound to use for each weapon.

It is a very small and simple mod.
You can do what you like with it. Repack as you wish.

Hello JAD, I would you your mod as part of mine for the Sounds overhaul. Are you fine with that? I would also send you a contribution. :)

@George yeah it's a good mod but I'm not a fan of having all the inventory sounds, I just want the gun sounds to be fixed to stop players silently swapping weapons

@Zenarchist - did you saw InventoryMoveSounds by Dab ? ;)

Brilliant mod dude. Thanks for this, it's a real shame this sort of thing isn't in the vanilla game.

I'm trying to create a similar mod that plays a sound when the player drags guns from their inventory -> ground, and from ground -> inventory as vanilla DayZ is silent when doing this and a lot of players exploit it to silently swap weapons in CQB.

I'm gonna use this mod concept as a base for that idea, I hope that's ok! You're a legend for sharing this and allowing us to do whatever with it - when my mod is released it'll be open-source as well and I'll make sure to credit you for help with the implementation
