LASD Ford CVPI MX7000 K9 SET

Description
Los Angeles County Sheriff Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (2nd generation)
- MX7000 lightbar -
- K9 units-

This is about 2 responding vehicles (police section). Props can be find separately (see links)

The MX7000 lightbar was mainly used on LASD CVPI until approx. mid of 2010s as it was replaced by Arjent lightbar completely (there may be some exceptions on reserve vehicles, special vehicles etc.).

General asset informations:
The vehicles are based on vanilla Police template, so each vehicle will response to police calls with code 3 or patrol the area.
However, there are a few differences between the vehicles (next to unit number on roof and different plate number):

2. UNIT 091: Will responding slower to target (max. approx. 70mph) with use of red and blue rotation lights, rear lightbar lights, one steady red light and blue light on front lightbar (+ standard addtional lights in headlights and on ram bar). Siren will be used more rarely (if the car is forced to reduce speed e.g. on crossings, traffic jams... etc.). May use lightbar front spotlights and driver search light on patrol during night. 1 deputy/officer patrol unit (+ invisible K9). Patrol/non-emergency speed is limited to 56mph (can be changed with AVO individually and has affect on max. emergency speed (+approx. 20%)). Seach light on driver side up and passenger side down.
Rear side window on driver side opened a bit.
Dog will bark at arrival on target and sometimes during patrol

3. UNIT 248: Will responding fast to target with full use of code 3 lightning/sound, will use lightbar spotlights on arrival/parking during night. May use lightbar flood lights on patrol during night. 1 deputy/officer patrol unit (+ invisible K9). Search lights down. Both rear side windows opened a bit.
Dog will bark sometimes at target and sometimes during patrol

What I have changed for all cars is cut-out of siren sound use, if the unit gets another emergency call, but officers are still investigating a location, cars will have activated code 3 lights, but no sound until vehicle left the scene.

Custom Effect Loader and Vehicle Effects are not needed to use this vehicles, but needed to have all above mentioned custom light flares on lightbar and rear (as shown in the pictures) and separate use of siren sound setting. If both mods are not activated, the cars will use standard setting.
It also change light settings when stopped at target (e.g. light up of warning light bar on rear, use of search light during night sometimes).

Model informations:
Purchased 3D base model (Turbosquid), but highly edited/modified by me (modified tris count, ram bar, wheels, whiper, mirrors, lightbar...).
All texture maps and custom light settings by me.
Many thanks to CelsiuZ for the MX7000 lightbar.

Resized to CS scale. (= this means it does not match to some other 2nd generation CVPI on workshop, but to most other cars, see FAQ).
Recommended well matching civil version in size by 謀 (even more detailed as my model, but looking good together in traffic)

Stats (each asset):
Tris: 3.668
Texture: 1024x512 (_d/_n/_s/_c/_a/_i)
Auto LOD
Vehicles share mesh and textures partly.

FAQ:
Q: Why a new CVPI model, as there are a few on workshop already?
A: I am not satisfied with most CVPI/Ford Crown Victoria on workshop. Some have lag of details, some are too small or too large. Therefore I decided to make a new model. I try to make the best compromise between tris count (target to keep below or slightly above 4.000 tris for single cars) and textures (1024x512 or 1024x1024 for cars), but still keeping optical quality in mind.

Q: Are you going to make further 2nd generation CVPI?
A: Yes, there will be police skin variations with different ram bar / lightbar / wheels.
Furthermore taxi will follow (including long version). Some other guys on workshop (e.g. sliN and CelsiuZ) are higly interested to update their fleet with this model.
I concentrate on Los Angeles Country vehicles first. If you are going to make a version for any other (or generic) livery, just leave me a message. Variations on workshop are highly welcome.

Q: What happens if I do not use the mods Custom Effect Loader and/or Vehicle Effects?
A. Vehicle will have standard lights (flipping blue/red on vanilla or according to any emergency light mod)
In the case you use Vehicle Effects but not Custom Effect Loader, you should delete files in workshop folder of this asset except the 3 *.crp. Same, if you do not want to use the effects, but have both mods installed.

Q: I do not need two vehicles. Can I delete one or two without problem?
Deselect a vehicle in asset overview (do not unsubscribe!) or deleting a *.crp file in the workshop folder should make no problem. Just be aware that I may still optimize this asset and make an update, so that you need to delete the *.crp file again.

Q: Will there be only this one LASP livery or furher more?
A: I will neither make the other versions for different cities like West Hollywood, Santa Clarita, Lawndale etc. nor for sub-services like Metro, where LASD is the serving law enforcement agency, but with other skin (sometimes just additional logo/text), as this would explode any list for selecting vehicles in e.g. SVS2 or EDS.
This is also the reason why the vehicles do not have 2 digits for a divison on roof, but 3 digits of last three car number only.
However, there will be some LASD special unit skins like K-9, Search&Rescue or Volunteer Patrol, if present for this vehicle. This vehicles also may have different effects and/or asset service template.
