This DayZ mod prevents items inside backpacks from being added to the hotbar when the backpack is put on the player's back.

The behavior of this mod can be customized via the "$profile:backpackhotbarinhibitor/settings.json" file. A file containing the default settings will be created upon server startup if the file does not already exist.


The "allowedSlots" setting determines which backpack slots, if any, are allowed to have their items added to the hotbar. By default, no backpack slots are allowed.

On vanilla backpacks, chem lights and radios are shown as attached to the straps on the player's front, so some users may want to allow these items to be put on the hotbar. This is possible as shown below:


Note: Allowed slots are determined by slot name, not item name.
