Description
This is a modified version on the RF03 Vulture by Spanj:

The reason I made this version is to have a high G capable ship that can haul my tanks in & out of planets easily. The hangar is just big enough to handle my Vindicator DD Tank. Plus the new low cockpit added on the front makes autominer harvesting a breeze!

Modifications:
- Easy autominer cockpit added to the lower left corner of the ship.
- Hangar bay expanded & specifically designed to hold my Vindicator tanks, but should work with most tanks.
- Easy in & out with low to the ground floor - great for high gravity planets.
- Removed Drill turrets to keep within CPU limits - spot still marked for future upgrades
- Long Range Radar
- Repair Bay moved to the side wall

That is true for Zeus. Im not sure if that is the only thing that needs to change on the vulture as I did not test it. You may be correct though.

I know, but I thought I could use them in vanilla by simply removing the T4 extender. Looks like I remembered wrong. I will be trying RE soon though.

Ahh I see, so Zeus is the way to go! Is it significantly more expensive, though? I wonder if there's still situations to use one or the other. Cost is certainly a limiting factor in my still relatively new vanilla save.

I don’t think you can fit them both inside the vulture without a complete overhaul.

It’s ironic though, because that exact question was part of my motivation for building Zeus, and two of the key features I designed the ship around. Besides Zeus, I’m not aware of any other ship that incorporates both features.

Super Cool! Do you by chance have one with both the mining hatch and the battle tank expanded hangar? Is that even possible?
