Description
What is this?
This is an add-on for Cold War Rearmed that adds troops from Altis' late colonial period during the 1980s. Both base CWR and its British Armed Forces Expansion are required.
I hope you can all appreciate this add-on, and please feel free to make missions or scenarios using it!

DEVELOPER'S NOTICE 8/31/2022: Hello everyone. It's been a while since this addon has been updated, but don't worry. I plan to have a small update at some point in the near future. The update will probably just contain a few tweaks and fixes, as well as at least one new vehicle. Thank you all for sticking with me, and I'll try to get that update out.

It does not replace the BAF, and I don't believe there's a 1980s Altis map (at least, as far as I know)

Honestly, the helicopters having the Royal Air Force insignia doesn't personally bother me, but I'll think on it. I do agree about the Challenger though, that will probably get removed in a future update

the aircraft seem to still have royal air force on them. Any plans to update. Also i wouldn't imagine that a colonial army would have a challenger in their ranks.

It's been on a hiatus since I've been working on another addon as of late, but I will get back to it. I realize there are a handful of issues to fix and tweaks to make. After I get the next update for the new addon finished, I'll begin work on all that.

I know nobody's mentioned it yet, but I would like to make a statement:
I am very much aware that there are problems with the Rebel units. The reason that they haven't been fixed so far is, frankly, because I don't want to bother the person who helped me put this all together.

I'm gonna suggest this but I don't expect it to be added anytime soon. Idk how lore accurate this is but I keep imagining a cold war Altis having some left over american stuff like M939 trucks and an M60 Patton. I think its because 3cb Altis has an M60A3, but I can totally picture a small island nation like Altis using older vehicles as the British begin to neglect them leading up to their independence at the end of the cold war. Might need someone more versed in Arma lore to fact check that tho.
