The stroke particles are changed to be hydrophobic so they can be erased by liquid now.

The stroke algorithm in version 1.1 was reported to cause broken strokes under server lags, I currently do not have time to fix it so the stroke algorithm is simply reverted to the old one for now.

Updare 1.1

By recommendation of player Kae from the ILB server, I implemented a new stroke algorithm that would allow for even smoother strokes! This would be particularly noticeable at large stroke sizes. Please see the 1.1 update video for a short demo of the new algorithm.

A remake of the classic Air Dot Pen originally made by player KZ featuring smoother strokes and a slick UI to conveniently change the timeToLive and size of the strokes without switching between different versions of the pen.

User Instruction:

The item can be crafted empty-handedly by pressing c, in-game name - "Air Dot Pen Advanced".

Hold left mouse to draw, click right mouse to switch color.

Double shift key to open/close the UI, which allows to change the timeToLive and size of the strokes.

Note:

The item is Multiplayer-Compatible, you can use it in server and your strokes can be seen by other players. However, other players that do not have the mod installed who attempt to use the pen WILL crash, therefore do not pass the pen to others if they don't have the mod installed.

Due to limitation of the game engine and the way that the pen works (using the in-game particle system), there is no way to 'erase' the strokes, the only ways for them to disappear is either to wait til the timeToLive of the strokes runs out (configurable through the UI), or to leave the area where the strokes are and come back, normally moving away such that you can no longer see the strokes would suffice.
