The Scavenger Alliance is a loose alliance between various factions of scavengers. A relationship of convenience more than trust. The alliance ensures that Scavengers can claim wrecks and salvage without fearing attack from other scavenger factions and are also protected from pirates and outlaws through strength in numbers.

The flagship of the Alliance is the Leviathan heavy cruiser. This is the most advanced ship of their fleet and unlike most of the ships in the Alliance fleet is one of the few that is purpose built. The Leviathan was built to spec for the Alliance by ARC.

The Drydock was built by the alliance as a cost effective way to repair and maintain the Leviathan. With it the Leviathan can quickly load and offload its cargo pods, refuel, repair, re-arm and take on new small vessels as needed much quicker than a traditional landing platform or even zero-g docking.
The drydock is constructed to the exact specification of the Leviathan and takes a lot of piloting skill to land the 4 landing gears onto the 4 dedicated pads, while lining up the lower hangar access ramp at the same time. A challenge, most pilots relish of course.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art repair bay system, any battle damage to the Leviathan can be repaired easily, quickly and safely from the dedicated repair shelter a short distance from the dock.

15 solar panels help to charge the base batteries while not in use, however, the base also has two generators in case solar energy is not enough to complete a repair cycle.
A single 15mm cannon on the roof of the shelter, more of a decorative statement than any kind of serious defence, can be used to ward of any roaming enemy drones while the dock is used.

To build the dock will require a large flat area.
