About the Mod

Gear up and explore the Galaxy as the Lombax from the popular game series, Ratchet and Clank. Using custom weapons and gear to fit your style in order to take down your foes. Features a crafting system based off bolts and a few custom materials which help fit the theme.

A semi-revival mod based on DrLicori's Lombax Race [community.playstarbound.com] and CaylePolin's Lombax Race Redux . The main different is that this mod uses its' own custom weapons and armors as I did not want it to be just a updated clone. I would recommend checking out the Redux mod as well to see the differences. Nearly all content from the other mods has been cut and replaced. If you find any problems or if you have a suggestion, please leave a comment.

Lombax: Revival Dungeons on FU Planets Link

Currently features;
Race
Custom Clothing
All Custom Armors
Custom Weapons
A few Custom Materials
A different way to craft
Dungeons
Custom Dialog

Vendors;

Unlike the Redux mod, this mod focus on using vendors to unlock, buy, and craft gear. These will be your go to when it comes to looking for new ways to defeat your foes and claim your rewards. The shops will almost always been updated with new stock as gear is added. The current vendors are; Val, Emeron, and Oddity. Val offers armor and survival gear, Emeron offers weapons, and finally the Oddity shop offers cosmetics. However, unlike Emeron and Val, the Oddity Shop requires strange coins in order to buy its' wears. At later tiers, you can also get ahold of the Bio Augmenter which features some weapons and armor. Now also features a pet shop called Little Guardians.

Note: This is my first real mod and any feedback is welcome.

@Kiero Ashkore

A side-mod as you suggested that only adds the Lombax Race + armors with the weapons you created either as recipes or added to the loot pool would be absolutely wonderful for a more vanilla experience.

Looking forward to see it !

@D20,

Well it would be possible it would also not be hard to do so either to write up a few receipts to craft the armor either. Hmm, I'll see what I can do but I do recall that the Lombax armor does go beyond vanilla scaling. I think the best solution would be to release a sub mod for vanilla armors. I will look into this but I will state that it will be a separate mod from the base one.

No problem.

Another request though : would it be possible to make an option to re-add armors to the crafting anvil ?

I wanted to play that mod in a more "classic starbound" way but armors aren't available at the anvil which forces me to rely on vendors. I tried the Lombax Race Redux mod instead to get this vanilla feel instead but it seems to have exactly the same issue...

@D20;
Thank you for your feedback. Well it would be possible, I do not think it would be a good idea due mostly to the fact that it comes from a custom damage type in order to work. If I were to override vanilla weapons, it would likely create more problems or conflicts with other mods. This is mostly why I made the reward chests for those who did not want to use the lombax weapons.

Lovely mod. Would it be possible to make bolts drop with vanilla weapons as well however ? I can only seem to make bolts drop from lombax weapons.

@Syke Stryker;

Ah, good to know. It could be whatever mod caused it was updated and fixed the issue. Likely had to do with tweaking the captured monster script or something. Regardless, let me know if it happens again if you can.

Also I don't know why but the Little Guardian shop is working now

@Syke Stryker,

Not without installing a mod that does it. It was never something I planned for the mod itself as the weapons all start at level 1 so the stats would likely look pretty poor.

Is there any way to see the weapons stats?
Kiero Ashkore  [tekijä] 7.6. klo 19.12
@Syke Stryker;

Yeah, just tested the uploaded version of this mod both with and without my personal mod collection and the Little Guardians shop works fine. Maybe something is overriding it for some odd reason in your own collection? Not sure what that could be as everything in that shop has its' own custom id.
