Much cheaper now with twice the storage at Tier 2 Level 10. As the game evolves it gets harder and resources more scarce. Completely remodeled to be more useable earlier in the game. Stronger on the outside(concrete) Cheaper on the inside(Carbon Substrate). 2 Container controllers at 320k SU with 15 Large, organized, color coded Cargo Boxes.

Found this Zirax Factory while playing the game and thought this would make an excellent small base. I challenged myself to make as much available as possible in this base under Tier 2 CPU standards.

The Z factory Starter is easily upgradeable to Tier 3 to install Teleporter, Furnaces, more constructor/deconstructors, or a shield along with additional storage.

Vanilla 1.7+, with full galaxy expansion, leaves you with many more planets to explore. Do you want to use the same bases on all those planets? I prefer a variety of small modular bases to use as needed.

TIPS: If you don’t require an advanced constructor, remove it and place a teleporter or shield generator and pentaxid tank if desired and still remain under T2. If you do, don’t forget to assign the teleporter to the already provided teleporter sensor on your “p” menu to save power when you dont need the teleporter.
