Updated Sanctum Installation T2

Sanctum Installation by Jrandall originally released March 4 2018.

The original is a large base that is now over T1 CPU.
Much has changed in the game since the original was built.

Updated Sanctum is my altered T2 version of that base.

I like the design, the large interior spaces, the big farm and the huge fly through hangar.
Since i use this base often i decided to update it in creative mode instead of upgrading it every time in game.

* The defense towers seen in the screenshots are not part of the base, they are a separate blueprint and only shown to demonstrate one way to defend a base from drone attacks.
CPU cost would be too high to include turrets for a level 7 unlock.

REFORGED EDEN: I don't know reforged well at all but there seems to be plenty of CPU points available, added a CPU stats screenshot.

Reduced fuel tank count to 18 and capacity is now 21,600
Reduced O2 tank count to 18 and capacity is now 18,000
There is plenty of space in the 2 engineering rooms for future capacity upgrades.

Flattened the roof and extended the flight deck a bit out over the hangar doors to make more room for CV landing.

I did not intend to install turrets on this other than the sentry guns to help protect the door entries, i use separate defense towers to keep CPU within T2 for a level 7 unlock.
The defense towers are not included but the Guardian blueprint in my workshop unlocks at player level 5.

Turrets can be done with a T3 upgrade but i suggest upgrading the blocks in areas around the turret hardpoints to armored concrete or you could do a generator upgrade and place a shield generator in one of the furnace bays.

I opened up the interior to make moving around inside easier, there are now less doors and walls.
Added wood blocks where farm plots would be placed.

The original storage box areas are now crafting and general equipment areas, lots of room to expand in here.
The original constructor spaces are now opened up and have two 320K storage controllers with room for more.

The majority of container extensions are under the floor of the base in long single rows to save space.

Added some blocks under the floor beneath the main interior structural supports to help with stability over uneven ground.
If you spawn this in without good ground contact you risk a collapse.

It needs a large reasonably flat area and even then there is usually still some soil inside to remove, a hover miner makes quick work of that.

Custom lighting settings, these can be changed to your preference in each lighting group.

Switched interior farm lighting.
Each grow light has a switch next to it.

Hangar overhead ceiling lights are switched, these are set much brighter than the interior hangar lights.
Interior hangar lights and crafting area lights are on separate sensors because of limited sensor range.
Exterior lights are switched.
This was all done mostly to conserve power.


T2 base Unlocks at level 7

Sensors added for hangar doors.
108 plot farm with no plots.
3 fridges and a food processor in the farm, each fridge has a power switch.
2 furnace bays, no furnaces.
One small and one large constructor with two 320K storage controllers.
1 ammo box and 8 sentry guns.
Wireless connection at each end of the hangar.
Added a generator in engineering A, it is redundant backup for the generator in engineering B.
15 large flat solar panels on the roof with 4 solar capacitors, 2 in each engineering room.

Yes finding a flat area is not easy, i usually have to scout for awhile to find a good spot.

Normally i have a hover miner and a drill before i'm ready to spawn this base and sometimes have to use the miner to make a flat spot.

I don't like doing that because it makes my land ugly so i try to dig out a spot that is a little smaller than the base footprint.

Yea I spawned it in a creative server. Looked fine but I did place it a bit deep and had to dig parts of it out. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

jrandall has some smaller base blueprints.

I have not spawned this into reforged, you could start a creative test world and try it to see what changes would need to be made.

I plan to test all of my blueprints in reforged but only after the new version of reforged is released.

Not sure what you mean about turrets, the defense towers in the screenshots are not part of the blueprint, they are separate blueprints and not designed for PVP where you need defense from directly above.

Adding turrets to the base blueprint would require expensive T3 CPU extensions and increase the player level required to spawn the base.

T3 could be done later once the required player level is reached and the resources are obtained.

I love jrandalls stuff glad to see an update. The only thing bad I see is it is too big :)

Adding the turrets doesnt hit the stuff above them?
