The "Puppeteer" (also known as "Il Burattinaio" in Italian) is a highly dangerous individual who appears as a figure draped in a long, jet-black robe. His face is obscured by an unnatural darkness, through which only his unsettling smile and glowing red eyes can be seen.

His origins are unknown, and it's not even certain that he's human. He possesses the ability to enter all human-written stories and distort and modify everything at will. Among the most alarming aspects is the fact that he appears to be completely immune to conventional weapons, which are effective only against his puppets—mindless wooden figures that attack blindly following his commands, then dissolve when destroyed.

This individual aims to take control of all imaginary worlds, characters, and stories invented by humans, so that he can use them to manipulate reality itself.
His primary target is not the characters, but their creators. They are the source of his power, and the success of his plans depends on them. By indulging their vices, he skillfully manipulates them, pushing them to do what he wants so he can take complete control of their creations as well. In doing so, he grows increasingly stronger, feeding on the fruits of the corruption he himself spreads wherever he goes.

He seems invincible, but there is actually a way to stop him. The problem, however, is that it is extremely difficult and nearly impossible to achieve.
Apparently, it is not possible to destroy him permanently, but he can be weakened and his destructive fury can be contained, albeit temporarily.

When defeated in a given universe, he is temporarily exiled from that world, and his influence over it is significantly reduced.

The Puppeteer is able to create more powerful and autonomous puppets, which can replicate the appearance and powers of any fictional character. Although not as strong as the originals, these doppelgangers are completely subservient to the Puppeteer and ruthlessly carry out his every command.

Symbolic Value: This character represents all those who misuse their own creativity, their own talent, and that of others. It also symbolizes the entire system that forces people, in a thousand different ways, to create things that go against their principles and can be harmful to others, benefiting only those who wanted them.
