tram HAL T2D-092 Fahrschule

Hello Folks,

today I can proudly present you the first tram of my "vehicle-series".
After re-finding my passion of modeling vehicles, I had to do a typical tram from former east-germany first.
While modeling I tried finding the perfect balance between managable texture and model size, while also keeping the highest amount of detail as possible.
The finished product is what you can see here, obviously.



This particular vehicle is the prototype and first ever built T2D, a czech replication of the original "Gotha T2-62".
The original was built in the city of Gotha up to the year 1965. After the GDR was forbidden to build their own trams,
the czech vehicle manufacturer "ČKD Tatra" was now in charge of continuing the construction of the so called "Gothawagen".

Built in 1966, this vehicle found its way directly to Halle (Saale), where it was converted into a training vehicle for soon to-be tram drivers.
After finding its way to Brandenburg (Havel) in 1986 and Jena in 1993, 092 (now 334) was scrapped there 1994.
The recreated verion shows 092 driving in Halle from 1980 to 1986.

As this tram depicts a training vehicle (Fahrschulwagen), I choose to not give it space for passengers. So you can put it on any line while not spending extra money on running this vehicle.
While this tram is pretty much functionless, it mostly serves for realism purposes. The prop version could also be a nice detail for tram depots.
Its max speed is just like the original, 40km/h (8 in-game).
There is no color mapping for this vehicle.
Indicator, head- and taillights are working.
The driving and the prop version share the same textures, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
