So to Steam depot, download the files pre-2020s, copy and paste it on the game directory.
There's a guide on how to do it, you can search it somewhere, I just forgot it.
Until very recently it was much simpler—just block the Ubisoft Game Launcher in the firewall and that was pretty much it. But then only a year or so ago, Ubisoft converted UGL to Ubisoft Connect so it ended up requiring an extra step to circumvent. Same thing happened with From Dust around the same time.
As it is now though, it still doesn't require much work after you've done everything the first time. The whole firewall procedure only needs to be done once.
I will try something else. thre's a lot of tutorials on the network.
Maybe the problem come from windows 11 that i use.
If you want to and are willing to do it, we could do a TeamViewer session to go through the process and maybe find where the problem is. No guarantee it would work but if you're determined enough maybe it would be worth it.
Sorry I can't be more help. I've gone through the steps myself on Windows 10 and I've been unable to reproduce your problem. If the steps worked the first time and failed the second, with no changes between the two attempts, then the only possible explanation I can think of is that either the game files (via Steam) or the Ubisoft Game Launcher are updating themselves at some point without your input.
One other possibility to try, if you get it working again, is to immediately set the AC Brotherhood Steam folder to read-only, before you even exit the game, to see if that fixes it. Otherwise it's hard to provide further help without access to your PC.
