I think one way on improving it is to make it look like plastic and not wood.

Mom's bed should get a make over too :)

I don't know much about pixel art or cars. I guess maybe make the the headlights less triangular and maybe widen and flatten the "month" and maybe add a number. I don't have anything against you mod or anything I just saw a face I wasn't trying to be rude or anything

the checkered pattern doesn't really fit the style of TBOI, at least not with the amount of contrast to the rest of it, if you'd change the checkered pattern to something more beige/gray, it wouldn't stand out so much to the rest of the style
