Description
The Bf-110, a renowned quick and efficient twin engine heavy fighter designed and produced by the germans during WW2.

History
The Bf-110s' development began in the 1930s, and was put into action during WW2 by the Luftwaffe. Being fairly successful in the Poland, Norway, and France invasions, it lacked most in maneuverability, however this could be mitigated with better tactics.
A place where the plane fell short was in bomber-escort duty, where its' size and weaknesses were heavily exploited by the RAF. Later, when the RAF began their nighttime bombing raids, an amount of these planes were converted to nightfighters, where the aircraft was quite successful.
Later in the war, some 110s were also fitted with radar, making them even more capable as a nightfighter, even having a number of aces come out of this variant of the 110.
As well as being a heavy-fighter, the aircraft was notably successful as a strike and ground support aircraft.

Specifications
  • Crew: 2 (Pilot, Navigator)
  • Fuel: 3150
  • Speed: Full Throttle 385kph/107m/s, Minimum In-flight throttle(.5) 265kph/74m/s
  • Length: 13.25m
  • Wingspan: 16.25m
  • Height: 4.5m
  • Armament: 4 7.92mm MG17 machine guns, 2 20mm MG FF/M cannons
  • Ordinance: 1 SC1000 and 1 SC250 bombs.

Operating
  • Engines and Taxi
Flip both engine system switches to on, and enable propeller collective.
Once engines are running smoothly, you can increase throttle to being taxi.
Once in position, max throttle and ready yourself for a treat of a flight.
  • Pilot Systems
    .
There is an altitude hold button on the top-right panel, where by toggling it, it will hold your current altitude until you disable it.
The Pilot has access to Radar, which can be zoomed in by interacting with the left side of the screen, and zoomed out by interacting with the right.
The Pilot can also view the map, which is operated by the navigator.
  • Navigator Systems
    .
The Navigator has access to a map, which will be delved into under this bulletpoint.
Alongside the map, the navigator has a clock, at keypad for inputting waypoints, and a compass.
This crew member is optional, the plane functions perfectly fine without a navigator.
You just might get lost a little more often.

  • Operating the Map
    .
The Pilot can swap between radar and viewing the map with the button at his/her feet.

The Navigator can zoom the map by interacting with the center of the screen (The player chevron is a good place), and then,
while still holding the original interaction, if you interact above it it will zoom out, and if you interact below it will zoom in.
You can move around the map by holding interact with wherever you want to go.
Tap interact to add a waypoint.
You can enter a map waypoint in the keypad as well.
The letters on the screen correspond to these actions; C = Clear route, B = Cancel most recent waypoint, R = Center
    map on player
  • Misc notes
    .
The Radar has compass markings to help you orient yourself. There is an error of about +/- 10 on the Altitude hold, so keep that in mind.
The dark gray block on the left of the pilot is the back of the canopy button, so interact with that to close the canopy.
Conclusion
This aircraft is one of the two progenitors of my new dynamic of releasing aircraft. From now on, i will be releasing aircraft in pairs!
An allies and an axis aircraft each time, and maybe a little bonus. This time around, the bonus goes to the Allies, with the Bedford MW Fuel and Service truck!

If you have any notes, reviews, criticisms, anything really, you're welcome to leave them in the comments, cheers!

Hey there! I made my own version, using XML and the weapons DLC. Could I have permission to upload this with credit given to you? I rebuilt the entire thing block by block using yours as inspiration (copied). I'd show you as well if you'd like.

@T-Tan Sadly I cannot update this, the way it is built does not accommodate any of the weapons due to size and there being no form of embedded barrels
