April 18th, 1945 - Dear My Beloved Wife, I feel that the war in Europe is almost over, maybe another month or so. Our company had just pushed across the Belgium, Dutch Boarder. Currently we are at an impass at a small urban town just north of the boarder. We're currently in a stalemate, each side has taken significant casualties, many of them being close friends through this war. We are planning to issue a new attack order to push across the river and gain a foothold. If we do this, we can cut supplies to other enemy regiments near this sector; although its just another gamble. Most of this message may be redacted; otherwise, how are the kids?
