We couldn't believe they didn't release a new advisor to come with this expansion... Fine, we'll do it ourselves!

So what's the deal with The Spymaster?

The Spymaster is a phantom in the empire's machinery—cold, calculating, and forever cloaked in shadow. He is never seen, only heard—a warped, whispering voice crackling through the earpiece like a ghost on the wire. He does not advise. He orchestrates. Every whisper of intelligence, every quiet vanishing, every shift in power—it all flows through him.

No one knows when he began. He has simply always been there, watching from behind the veil. Chancellors rise and fall under his silent gaze, each weighed and measured by unknown criteria. Some are guided. Others… vanish. No explanations. No ceremonies. Just silence—and then a new face in the chair.

The Spymaster remains...

Fun Facts
- This is our 2nd mod on the stellaris workshop lol.
- Our first mod was way back in 2020 lmao.
- We're a group of friends that wants to give back to the community while doing something fun, we're complete amateurs.
- There will be more advisors like this coming in the future, we just don't know when they'll be out.

I see. Once I get around to updating this mod I should have a look at the weights of the VOs and adjust them accordingly then.

Should be one of my favorites, except there are a few things that make me change ulitmately. There are voice lines that will be more frequent in gameplay than others, getting declared on is rare while attacking a fleet isn't and in my opinion that should decide the length and uniqueness of the voice clip. But 2/3 of the attacking voice lines are aggressive to the player (doesn't fit an authoritarian empire). Also attacking a starbase is very frequent so long voice lines don't fit either. If there's one voice line that I heard way too much it's the one talking about his youth.
