Enter 'mat_specular 0' into the console to resolve any unusual specular missing texture issues

If the above solution doesn't work for you then follow these steps: go to "Steam\\steamapps\\common\\GarrysMod\\garrysmod\\cfg" and find the "Autoexec.cfg" file. In this file, write down "mat_specular 0" and press save
