TREKORION: Excelsior class Tr/Xa/Og/Av battleship

15 slot end game battleship. Based on my favorite elements from the USS Excelsior and the USS Lakota.

Starfleet built a single Excelsior class battleship in response to the Second Wave Xsotan invasion that destroyed the USS Lexington (constitution refit) and USS Alexandria (constellation class). The intention was to build a ship from standard galactic materials with the same defensive power as an Avorion constructed cruiser.

The Excelsior was completed in the shipyard at sector -31:154 and accompanied by the USS Reliant (miranda class) during its shakedown flights outside the barrier.

The USS Excelsior successfully located and defeated an agent of the Bottan smuggling ring and took down a group of enforcers from The Four. It then joined an allied flotilla headed into the core and successfully assaulted the newly constructed wormhole guardian at galactic center.

Following the defeat of the second guardian, Starfleet was better prepared for the resulting Xsotan retaliation and withdrew beyond the barrier.

In its current deployment, the Excelsior is armed with 4 legendary bolters, 3 legendary lasers, 6 exotic plasma cannons, and 8 point defense lasers to a total of 18.4k om. To support her deep space mission, her hangars hold 2 repair squadrons, a salvage team, and a mining team.
