IMPORTANT NOTE: The original author of the mod finally ported it to 1.2, so please use that one instead: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1279817576

Also note that same functionality can be achieved by disabling the "Infestation" and "Deep drill infestation" incidents in the Scenario edit screen when starting a new game.

You cant disable them in the Storyteller settings only the spawn rate, which is how frequent it occurs, and if we really want to get down to brass tax, you can just not dig under overhead mountain roof.

Daniel, maybe another mod is interfering. Try to move it to the bottom of the mod list, so the patch can override the settings of any other previous mod. Also, I believe that the incidents system of the game have a queue which is stored in the save game file so maybe you need to overcome a couple of incidents until it starts working, or edit manually the file to remove them. Hope this helps.
