Warframe utilises its own account system separate from Steam therefor changing your Steam username will not affect Warframe.

As with everything account related you'll need to sign into your account on the Warframe Website.[www.warframe.com]
NOTE: You MUST have 200 platinum on your account to change your alias.

Once you've logged into your Warframe Account, select your username and then select Account Management from the dropdown box.

Upon entering the Account Management page, you'll see two prompts for both Twitch Account linking and Two Step Email Verification. Below the twitch prompt will be a tab containing your account information. Alias, Email, Password & Platinum. Select the Edit option next to your Alias.

The tab will convert into a form similar to the rename clan tab to the right where you can input your new username (twice to confirm it) and accept the terms and conditions of changing your Alias, that being a 200 platinum "surge charge".
