Description
This mod uses AI upscaling to make the vanilla SCS skybox textures 4x larger, resulting in a slight improvement in visual clarity.

Tested in 1.40 (will not work on versions 1.50 and later)

Contains 6 sets of textures for skyboxes:
-Bad 02
-Bad 03
-Nice 02
-Nice 03
-Nice 04
-Nice 05

Other skybox textures are mostly a flat colour (Clear or overcast) and aren't included.

I read you. However if you strive enough there are skybox , from other ganmes, that are real 4k. Mybe this would help

I agree I never really liked how these skyboxes came out myself but people seemed to like them.

It really needs clear lines and blocks of colours to work well which is the opposite of what skyboxes are.

It may still work, but it may not be better than the new skyboxes I haven't tested it.
