Description
EA26 Kar-98AZ

I am young, I am twenty years old; yet I know nothing of life but despair, death, fear, and fatuous superficiality cast over an abyss of sorrow. I see how peoples are set against one another, and in silence, unknowingly, foolishly, obediently, innocently slay one another.

The superior trench-gunning instrument of the Hun, besides anything capable of multiple shots without messing with the action anyways. Shoot your foes, impale your foes, or bonk your foes with this one handy utensil! These were weapons popular with elite units within the Imperial German Army, perhaps the most iconic example being the Stoßtrupp.

I have a link to the one that's compatible with modern versions linked... at the very top of the page

Unfortunately, this gun is long dead

I was mostly inspired by old Bannerman catalogues, but unfortunately my 1927 version doesn't list any prices for the rifle, despite it appearing in the book. Here is some of what they list in the WWI relics section:
US Experimental Helmet (you might've seen a few examples of these online over the years): $5
German Machine Gun (specifically MG08/15): $150

The Adolf Frank Export book from 1911 has listings for the Model 98 regarding it as being the 'Best weapon for all kinds of game.' It might be priced at around 90-100 marks which would be around $22 USD at the time? Though that was before the war, and therefore surplus of the rifle, were around.

Definitely priced cheaper than what they probably would've gone for back then, even surplus-ized - but that's part of the fun!

Thanks for striking my curiosity!

Nice! would make it more immersive ingame and have some variation! Much Appreciated!

Hmm that's actually not too bad of an idea. I suppose I'll update that when I add the other version. The gun doesn't work on Unity 2020, even after applying some fixes, so I'll make a new version with those updates and this'll become the legacy variant

AHaha! would be nice to see variation between beyonet and non beyonet versions, the beyonet version having the lighter wood and the darker wood having the standard version. Many fans would greatly appreciate that.

Moxxx really likes his light woods, perhaps.
If you don't like that wood color, stay tuned for this upcoming variant [i.imgur.com]

Why is the metal and wood such a light colour? it seems to be a common thing with most PGW and WW2 weapons.
