In Nortander, there is a river valley, which is spanned by a large bridge.
The bridge represents an important connection between two big towns.
This area was often contested in times of war because of its strategic location.
Therefore a lot of small fortresses were built to serve as outposts for the rivaling factions.
Now that the crown has been weakened by the recent wars, bandits roam and pillage the area looking for careless traders.
There are rumors that a local druid has summond an ancient golem to fight off any intrudors.
