Description
The Deadly Sins of GloomHaven

A wave of darkness is looming over the skies of Gloomhaven.

Dark clouds in the day and dark shadows in the night seem to be casting a dark and foul mood among the people of GloomHaven.

The Sacred Oak is foretelling of three deadly sins that are spreading like a contagion - sloth, greed and perhaps the most powerful and feared - wrath - and the fires of anger that come with it. Confessions of the remorseful are at an all time high for these three deadly sins, but what’s more concerning is a growing number of those among us who do not seek forgiveness for their actions at all.

This triple threat is suspected of being fueled by supernatural causes, exploiting the natural human weaknesses for these deadly sins. But what is it? A demonic presence? A cult that seeks to destroy and wreak chaos amongst humanity? Or the precursor to an undead army amassing and poised to attack at the moment of greatest upheaval. These are just speculations - it must be investigated and dealt with before its too late.

A young and promising group of adventurers is being recruited to the elite Freelancers Mercenary Crew, as the forces of evil have become overpowering for their dwindling numbers. They must be resolute in spirit and superior in strength to be of service - and their first mission is now upon them.

MISSION 1: The Treasury and Weapons Cache

Boris Jarr is your contact to the Freelancers, a master tactician and one of the finest Inox combatants back in his younger days.

He explains the first mission to you. There is a heightened ring of greedy criminal activity that has been hoarding treasures and weaponry at a highly guarded abandoned warehouse just outside the industrial area of GloomHaven. The mission is to first hit this location hard to stem their flow of gold and weapons to whomever - or whatever - is at the root of this evil.

Boris also explains this will help fund and equip you for future missions, as the coffers of the Freelancers is also being depleted at a fast rate, and of course the Sacred Oak is always politely seeking more charitable donations to offer their blessings to the Crew.

You will only a few rounds to get in and get out of the warehouse, see what is going on, and hitting them as hard as you possibly can.

[GameMaster note: This is a way for a new party of experienced players to equip up quickly before more challenging levels forthcoming]

MISSION 2: Sloth - coming soon...
