Description
Introduction

You know when sometimes you wonder why the Army still hasn't updated one vehicle or an other after so many years? It can be a monetary reason yes but it can also be because nothing better has even come close to it. The latter is the reason why the old T606 Army Recovery Truck by Kriger is still around today. Kriger built the T606 way back in 1948! It was first used in the Air Force to clear out landing strips of crashed planes and was eventually adopted by the Army when they removed the crane and used the truck to transport troops in the mid-50's. By the early 60's the army had added a new crane of their own back on the T606 and it was now being used as a recovery truck for light utility vehicles, tanks, other trucks, trees, whatever you want out of the way; the T606 was there.

This creation is inspired by combining two real world vehicles; the Federal T606 C2 Wrecker and the Oshkosh M936 Military Recovery Truck.
