Empire Pegasus Pistolkorps - Updated for Beastmen Rework

Description
This mod adds Pegasus mounted versions of the three Empire missile cav units to the Empire roster. These units are balanced to be overall marginally better than their vanilla counterparts. The units are 1/3 the unit count of their vanilla versions, with twice the proportional damage per bullet and 50% more ammunition which should even out overall damage capacity with the Pegasus units having the obvious advantage of being airborne. The Grenade launcher variant gets a 50% wider blast radius than vanilla grenades. All have a +10 range over vanilla as having an airborne position would logically extend their reach.

They are recruitable from the Stables building tree: Both Pegasus Outriders from tier 5 Stables and Pegasus Pistoliers from tier 4 Stables. Some of the animations have minor bugs to work out still, but otherwise everything works. Units will benefit from all tech and skills for outriders/pistoliers as well as Demigryphs (as monstrous cavalry). Support for Empire Master Engineer’s skill buffs is built in. The units have a passive that provides 15% magic and fire resist as long as a leader is alive and morale is not wavering. As a unit mod, this is save game compatible.

There are some minor animation bugs to still resolve. I may also develop Regiments of Renown versions of these guys. Anyone who wants to adapt this animation set is welcome to do so, I would just appreciate credit!

Unfortunately no. The WH3 animation structure and mount system is different enough that I was not able to get this working in 3 and the Asset Editor tools for doing mounts don't work in the most recent versions. I also am not able to do modding anymore and doubt I could find time to work out the move to 3 at this point. Believe me I wanted this is another airborne unit in Guns of the Empire.

hey snek. I'm still playing wh2 as I'll wait wh3 to get "done" before I buy it. All ur mods are a must have for empire, so much fun!!! Thx a lot for all the work

Mod updated for the Beastmen rework. Other than adjusting for the animation changes from CA, I gave all units an ammo buff. The biggest increase is for the Pistoliers, a smaller one for outriders, and the smallest for outrider grenade launchers.
