[LKF] Verona Mk II class Corvette

Originally serving as a fighter screening vessel, the Verona Augmento saw extensive use on both fronts of the war, being the main line LKF corvette until the arrival of the Invictus class. However, the Invictus proved more capable at repelling enemy fighter craft, and was faster and lighter than the ageing Verona.

The Verona however had proven to be a more threatening sight on the battlefield, due to its aggressive forward bow. Engineers who originally worked on the Verona Augmento gathered, and in their free time designed the Mk II as a passion project. However, when command was made aware of these plans they were impressed.

The Mk II turned the Verona into a brawler style corvette. With heavier armour and weaponry. A full list of upgrades include:

Description

The Verona is a bulky, and relatively slow Corvette compared to other ships in its class. However it features heavy armour, and a strong armament. This allows it to be used in an anti-capital role due to its heavy forward firepower and armour.

The ship has a small interior, and a jump drive too. Giving it a wide operations range. However, keep in mind it is a warship and features little in terms of production capabilities.
