Boneworks: Left Index Controller (Check Description)

Boneworks themed skin for the LEFT hand controller of the Valve Knuckles controllers.

The RIGHT controller skin is uploaded separately from this one.

What is this for?
Why is it uploaded as a background?
How do I get this to work?
Will there be more?

This is, as the title name states, a controller skin for the Valve Index Knuckle controller.
Secondly, the state of being able to upload content to the Steam Workshop for SteamVR is currently limited to backgrounds and nothing else.

Instructions to make this work properly:

1. Within file explorer find the installation location of your SteamLibrary folder where SteamVR is installed in
2. Follow the path of \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\indexcontroller\resources\rendermodels\
3. Once at this path you will see 6 separate folders called (valve_controller_knu....) with different ending names. This is because there are 3 variations of the Index Knuckles controllers, and one folder for each hand.
4. Your version of the Index Knuckles may differ, but I use the one labeled (valve_controller_knu_1_0_....)
5. Seeing as this skin is meant for the LEFT controller, enter the folder named (valve_controller_knu_1_0_left)
6. In here you can scroll down to see a PNG image named after the folder with the addition of (_diff.png) making the total file name (valve_controller_knu_1_0_left_diff.png)
7. This PNG image is the skin for the index controller. This PNG needs to be replaced with the new skin image.
8. To download the skin image, left click on the title image showing the skin above, right click the image that pops up, left click (Copy link address)
9. Take the copied link and paste it into a web browser and press enter. Right click the image in the browser and left click (Save image as) and navigate to the location of the controller LEFT hand image, and save the new skin as the image with the same name.
10. If SteamVR is running, restart it to complete the changes
11. Now you can either complete the same process for your other hand, or enjoy your new skins if you have already completed those steps.

LEFT and RIGHT controller skins are separately uploaded to be used for skins to properly function.

I would like to make more of these skins, and I encourage anyone else to make some themselves. All I use is Adobe Photoshop, the default index skin as a template, and any other images I want to fit into the template.

I apologize if there is another way to change Index skins or if my instructions are difficult to follow.
