Description
This mod makes it so Dining Chairs can be made from stony materials. (don't know why they can't in vanilla)
Any stuff tagged as "stony" will be compatible. Which includes other mods stones, bricks, porcelain, concrete etc

Also affects Square Chairs from VFE.


Inspired by DisK from meepville.


I make more mods that do less.

Evidently still works in 1.6: build materials for chairs include stone.

Ive been wondering why you cant make stone chairs, or stone workstations and no one can tell me why. Not even the devs will give an answer to this question, but im glad someone made a mod for it. It annoys the shit out of me when i find such inconsistencies in a game with no explanation. Maybe you could also add stone version for workstations that dont have them too?

It works in 1.5, the warning is completely benign. It's literally just a warning message from a version check.

If you don't want to see an error message every time you load Rimworld: just open this mod's About.xml and add <li>1.5</li> under <supportedVersions>. Or even just rename 1.2 to 1.5, if you want to be even lazier. You can find this mod's file either by making a local copy of this mod (the copy will be in Rimworld's "Mods" folder), or by finding the folder(under Steam's workshop folder) named with the number of this workshop page.

Is there a mod that does chairs AND everything else it can? Like advance research desk made of stone, drug labs etc? (I know it's out there, this mod is great but a smaller version of something I want to encompass more.)
