The original mod has a very old outdated character_interaction_events file which causes missing dialogs in game and missing features and events. Also some events got changed during game updates last year and this file was from before those updates. I updated that file completely so nothing is missing anymore and all is up to date and working as intended without missing dialogs etc.

Description Below is from the Original Mod:

Choose your method of Execution.

This mod overhauls executions in Crusader Kings III:
Choose from 8 new methods of executing your prisoners (see below)
Execution sounds from Crusader Kings II
Shows exactly how a character died when you check their tooltip
Changes the notification text from 'Prisoner Executed' to a method-appropriate text
Custom event for each method when you are being executed

Added 9 Execution Methods:
Beheading
Hanging
Burning
Drowning
Boiling
Crushing
Impaling
Flaying
and now
Blood Eagle

You can now choose from any of these methods when executing a prisoner, however the more 'cruel' methods will incur stress unless you are Sadistic or Vengeful, or if they are your rival.

This mod also adds the execution sound effects from Crusader Kings II - there are currently limitations on modding sound effects (they have to be flagged as 'music') and occasionally they will not play, I'll fix this when/if it's possible to properly add new sounds.

The AI can also choose from the new execution methods - most people will either behead or hang you, or burning if you are from a hostile faith. Each execution method has a custom event!


Ps. I will keep this mod updated and might be adding onto it, I have some ideas but for now my priority was making it compatible with latest patches and bring it up to date.

Now also Includes Tortures which will be added more onto later on!

Mod Compatibility: Not Compatible with mods that change the following files:

Unfortunately this mod does not work with AGOT. It removes “negotiate release” actions like sending prisoners to the Night’s Watch and stripping their knighthood. Also the “dragon flame” execution method is already in the base mod

Could you add a "hidden_effect" to the "send_interface_message" command on the execute interaction to remove the link to the target's name on the tooltips for "Effects under you"? That's how vanilla does it.

Also, to improve compatibility, you could move these interactions to a new file:
- imprison_interaction
- execute_prisoner_interaction
- torture_interaction
- castrate_interaction
- blind_interaction

And move these events to a new file:
- char_interaction.0170
- char_interaction.0172
- char_interaction.0252

And maybe add "flavor" as a category for the game rules to make it easier to find them?

This might be helpful for you guys: After testing for a while, i managed to make this mod work with my modlist. Just make sure that it is at the very bottom of the list.

Simply a must-have mod :) Thank you Fungaming44 !

Just confirming the mod works perfectly. By the way, at deausiflack you can turn off all the music (the various Ck3 theme songs) in settings, and the execution sounds will still play.

With my standard modlist, this mod wasnt working either, obviously it's because there is a conflict with another mod that I need to locate.

Have you tried with this mod alone? Many many mods overwrite prison interactions.

This doesn't appear to be working. I open execute, select behead, then execute. It says the person is executed but... they are not, they are still alive.
