Animal Controls

Description
Tools to make general animal herding more convenient.

Features
- makes so all animals can have food restrictions (the same as Animal Food Restrictions mod);
- makes so "Animals" tab has "Food Restriction" category (similar to AnimalFoodRestrictionInTab mod);
- adds food categories for all plants. All "tree" class objects go to the "trees", other plants that can be grown by the player go to "crops", and everything else goes to "plants";
- adds "Other Edible" category for everything that can be eaten, but doesn't go to the "Plants" or normal "Foods" category, so you can now restrict edibles that can't be usually forbidden. Don't forget to synchronize your food restrictions with drug restrictions;
- you can restrict pawns (i.e. animals) from eating growing plants;
- added an option to set default food restriction for all joining animals (see Food Restrictions -> Defaults);
- added an option to set a food restriction that all handlers will use when taming or training animals. This restriction overrides current restriction set to the animal (see Food Restrictions -> Defaults). I. e. you can set all grazing animals to only wild plants, yet your handlers still can train them using separate restriction;
- all newborn animals inherit their food restriction from their parents;
- all newborn animals inherit their area restriction from their parents;
- handlers, instead of using only non-meal food, now can use any food with low nutrient value for taming and training (euqal or below 0.1). In vanilla it means you can use pemmican;
- (optional) an option to allow pawns feed, tame and train animals using hay. Animals also prefer growing plants and hay over everything else if they're allowed to eat it;
- (optional) an option to make animals pay attention to the handler, preventing them from running off right in the middle of interaction.

Can be added mid-game. You might need to update your food restrictions. Can be removed mid-game with generally harmless error messages. You might need to re-draft your pawns.

For me personally disabling Area Defaults option is all I need.
I mean AC is no in need of patch current thing.
It is not even an issue now. Imho

Hm, filter uses whatever your regular food filter allows. I'm afraid I could break compatibility with some other mods that modify food filters for a minor convenience option.

His new version mod has an option to disable Area Defaults for AC parent area inheritance work as it should.

Also, could you add a fresh/rotten/bonned subfilters for bodies subcategory for food policy?
I want to control my wargs so they feed on rotten bodies, and not fresh.

Found it! It is 1trickPwnyta's Defaults, which prevents Parent Area Inheritance of newborns.

It will be good to fix this issue. AC is nice mod.

Only vanilla animals, any newborn of not penned.
Alright, then again a long modlist checking.

Hello. Newborn any animal? Or some particular animal? Some mod added "fantasy" animals and if I remember correctly any egg animals can't inherit it, due to lack of proper parent links.
Regarding your list, nothing instantly recognizble to me.

- you use some food mods that mess with nutrien values;
- your settings for training food are incorrect;
