Lore

With the emerging Vagabond class gunships spreading across TFK territory LKF needed a reliable ship killer, with a jump drive. And so began plans for the Dynasty class. The first destroyer class in LKF's battle lines. With a small crew compliment and powered mostly by engines the Dynasty can be produced on the cheap. Unfortunately this does show, with sub par armour and crew quarters.

During fleet engagements the role of the light destroyer is too quickly engage smaller targets, destory them, pull back and repeat. Overwhelming corvette sized vessels with its firepower. This also makes the light destroyers useful for punching through fighter screens, to allow bombers to get past enemy screening vessels. Alternatively, the fierce point defense grid allows for effective anti fighter use also.

Description

The Dynasty class light destroyer is a packed little ship. It has a fierce point defense grid, along with excellent firepower, an armoured bow and a jump drive. Production systems onboard are limited, however there is ample storage for ice & components.

The ship is best used to quickly kill smaller corvette sized vessels, as it can't take too much of a beating. Stay in the CIC and keep your distance, this allows your point defense grid to be at its most effective.
